Frequently asked
Common questions, answered honestly.
How is this different from legacy consulting firms?
Legacy firms are often staffed by former admissions officers, sometimes physicians who served on committees years ago. I offer a different value: someone who navigated this exact process recently, who works with you personally rather than through a rotating team, at a much lower price point.
Do you guarantee admission?
No. Anyone who guarantees admission is misrepresenting how this process works. What I can guarantee is a structured, personalized process drawn from my own experience getting into top medical schools.
What is your timeline as a medical student?
I'm currently a fourth-year MD/MBA student at Columbia, which means I have meaningful availability during the current cycle. I cap my client load to ensure every student gets the attention they need. When I begin residency, I'll continue working with existing clients but may pause new intake, so book early in the cycle.
Do you work with students from any school or background?
Yes. I work with traditional applicants from selective colleges, non-traditional applicants, gap year students, and reapplicants.
How do payments work?
All packages are paid in full upfront via Stripe before work begins. The free 20-minute consultation gives you the chance to make sure we're a good fit before any commitment. All sales are final once work begins.
Will you write my essays?
No. I guide and edit. I do not write essays for students. Your application has to be in your voice and reflect your experiences. My role is to help you find the right story and tell it well.
When is the best time to start?
Anytime starting from high school onwards.
Where are you located? Do you only work with NYC students?
I'm based in New York City, and I work with students nationally over Zoom. In-person sessions can be arranged for clients in the NYC metro area.
